Outside Sales - Electronics and Digital Products

POSITION SUMMARY This position is accountable to the Director, Sales and is responsible for developing and executing key functions to develop incremental sales with new customers and/or organically grow existing customer sales by promoting TWG's digital products under the direction of TWG's Director, Sales and in accordance with the Company's strategic business growth objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (functions): TWG expects all employees to work safely without injury maintaining the highest safety standards in compliance with Company safety policies. 24-hour response to all incoming sales inquiries from assigned accounts or potential new customers for all TWG products. 2. Grows TWG's professional relationships within targeted OEM accounts to get digital products (LMI, Electronics, IoT and/ or other digital products) 'engineered in' or 'specified in' by way of new product development or share gain via existing product categories with TWG's core competencies. Provides technical assistance to customers either individually or in collaboration with TWG's application, engineering or warranty service teams. Coordinates with Marketing and Customer Service to generate customer quotes within 5 days of receiving RFQ. Develops positive, mutually-beneficial relationships with all assigned or new customers and serves as the primary point of contact for those customers within TWG. Aggressively works to develop new business of digital products with existing or new customers in accordance with TWG's strategic business growth objectives. Introduces and actively promotes, to all assigned or new customers, TWG's digital products and value-added solutions. Assists in coordinating and leading sales/service seminars for assigned and new customers when required. Writes business correspondence, proposals and quotations. Submits inquiries with associated business cases for non-standard product opportunities to the Director of Sales for qualification and approval. Assists in organizing and attends industry-related trade shows. Completes trip reports and documents all leads, opportunities and customer correspondence in Salesforce. Manages and reviews customer portals as needed. JOB QUALIFICATIONS 1. Must have a highly customer-centric mindset with a track record of growing, developing and sustaining strong customer relationships. 2. Must have a broad business background and knowledge of Load Moment Indicator (LMI) applications with an understanding of customer relations, product specifications and market conditions that affect the competitive nature when dealing with electronic and digital systems. 3. Possess a positive, "can do" attitude while striving to achieve assigned company objectives. 4. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with the different disciplines within TWG's organization. Contract Management and Proposal Writing is a plus. 5. Must strive for Win-Win outcomes and have respect for people, treating all employees with dignity and respect. 6. Must have a sufficiently strong technical background to communicate effectively on technical product matters and needs. 7. Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time or as necessary for the purpose of promoting the full line of TWG's digital products to all assigned and new potential OEM or Distribution customers. Must have a valid, regular driver's license and valid passport. 8. Must have a safety-focused, positive, professional & respectful attitude at all times within & outside TWG and / or Dover OPCS, both domestically and internationally. 9. Must demonstrate the ability to recognize problems, the willingness to respectfully confront problems and demonstrate problem solving skills that lead to effective solutions. 10. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 8-10 years successful technical / sales experience, preferably selling LMI, IoT (internet of Things) products and other electronics for various mobile construction or utility equipment markets. Bachelor's Degree is preferred or equivalent successful past work experience. Knowledge of, or experience with electronics, LMI, displays, IoT and other digital applications is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
