Service Technician, Valves

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a hybrid role involving the duties performed both by Service Techs and by Repair Center Techs. You will:

  • Deliver post-sale services at customer sites including installation, maintenance and repair of organization and third party products and services (e.g., performs teardown, diagnostic tests) to ensure that all function properly.

  • Respond to customer questions regarding operation and malfunction.

  • Test, troubleshoot and repair equipment and components in a repair center environment according to established quality procedures, including conducting tests to ensure that repaired products meet technical specifications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Solid experience with and a good working knowledge of oil & gas industry equipment and/or valves.

  • Experience handling large tools.

  • Knowledge of conducting API 6D hydrostatic testing.

  • Technology school certification.

  • Transportation Worker Information Card (TWIC).

  • The ability to travel domestically and internationally 80% of the time.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
