POSITION SUMMARY
Application Sales Engineer is the primary technical resource for the field sales force and our customers. The candidate is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate, the Application Sales Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. The Application Sales Engineer must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle both within departments of TWG and with our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (functions): TWG expects that all employees will work safely without injury maintaining the highest safety standards in compliance with Company safety policies while interpreting Company policies to employees and enforces Company rules and safety regulations.
1. Maintain expert level of product knowledge (mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic systems) and application.
2. Understand solid models of new and existing parts/products as necessary, multi-view, detailed, drawings of assemblies, subassemblies and parts, including specifications, gear ratio's, bearing loads, fluid pressure and volume, directions of moving parts using engineering data and standard references
3. Experience using 3-d CAD systems (Solidworks preferred) 3-d models and assemblies
4. Basic knowledge of common manufacturing processes
5. Basic knowledge of Gated Product Development processes, Critical Chain, and other similar project management processes
6. Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
7. Provide design and specification development support to distributors and OEMs.
8. Respond to functional and technical elements of Request For Information /Request For Price
9. Adhering to all internal procedures related to Request For Price
10. Listen, understand and convey customer requirements.
11. Perform technical/ product training for sales people and customers.
12. Assist in the design and development of new products
13. Works with engineering personnel and manufacturing
14. Provide customer technical assistance to designated salesforce and customers for product questions and problems from the point of quotation request through post shipment and installation.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3-5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
