ECI has an immediate opening for a permit technician.
The successful candidate will support non-environmental permitting efforts for EPC Services and ECI.
Non-environmental permitting includes obtaining building, zoning, road crossing and FAA permits, among others.
Under the direction of environmental Project Managers and Planners the technician would complete forms, applicability review, contact agencies and stakeholders, and manage the workflow schedule for permitting.
Skills preferred are the ability to work under demanding deadlines, maintain effective communication with jurisdictions and ECI Project teams to move permits through process for construction start and the ability to balance several projects at one time.
Understanding and implementation of local permitting and planning requirements are preferred, but not required.
Minimum Requirements:
3
years of related experience of administrative, document control or permitting, 2-4 year college degree related to the field of study (Environmental Studies, Planning, Geography, etc.
) may be substituted for required experience.
The ability to track multiple activities.
Skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Excel), Adobe (Bluebeam) required.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent level of interpersonal skills, ability to work individually and on a team, ability to work with confidential information and attention to detail.
Successful applicants must have strong word processing skills and be adept at learning computer software.
The successful applicant must be able to be present in the office during normal (core) business hours, typically 8-5 on designated workdays, Monday through Friday at one of ECI's nationwide offices.
The successful applicant is subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements and may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking.
