Summary:
The AVP, Performing Loan Operations is responsible for executing the escrow administration and investor reporting strategy to support the Company's growth and profitability objectives.
AVP, Performing Loan Operations ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
Manages and executes escrow administration and investor reporting strategies and implements tactical plans that achieve or exceed the company's objectives.
Leads and manages investor reporting, remittance administration, and assigned account reconcilement efforts compliant with company and secondary market investor standards.
Plans and administers assigned department's operational budget(s) and provides support to the development of capital strategies to meet the company's objectives.
Manages and mentors the escrow administration and investor reporting organization based on clear strategic vision, comprehensive organizational structure, defined roles, and detailed operational plans.
Works closely with department personnel and leaders to continuously improve the quality of controls necessary to grow the company and mitigate operational risks.
Develops, trains, and implements formal servicing policies and procedures that are compliant with all federal, state, investor, and insurer regulations and guidelines.
Provides subject matter expertise to executive leadership based on analysis, insights, experience, and data to guide the strategic direction.
Provides technical support and directions to the development and execution of corporate activities.
Develops and manages the implementation of policies and procedures and monitor compliance with established policies, including secondary market investor guidelines.
Participates in the department hiring, promotion, and review process while managing, mentoring, and improving support staff performance.
Coaches and develops team to ensure we are meeting the needs of the company.
Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department.
Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.
RequirementsAVP, Performing Loan Operations REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Advanced knowledge in Investor Relations policies, procedures, and practices.
Strong analytical, strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skills.
Resource deployment and management capabilities.
Proficiency in accounting and financial controls leadership.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to lead a proactive organization and ensure accountability for results that maximize contributions to corporate business objectives.

10 years of servicing operations or related work experience in the mortgage or financial services industry; and 5 years in a leadership position.
Experience in servicing loan portfolio in accordance with secondary market guidelines preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
