Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Satisfy all district requirements with regard with regard to physical health and citizenship.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal:
Reinforce English language instruction for English Language Learners and assist with parental involvement activities Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Reinforce English language in content area classes, specifically social studies, math and science.
Assist with in-class tutoring and/or small group instruction as needed.
Preview student lessons, provided by ELD teacher, for all classes in which serving as tutor.
Serve as site translator/interpreter, if appropriate.
Assist ELD instructor as needed.
Attend required staff meetings.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
